The Georgetown Day School baseball team has decided to raise money to donate to the Wounded Warrior Project. Our goal is to raise $1,500, but we'd love to exceed that amount if we can. In an effort to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project we will be hosting a home run derby at Fort Reno Park in Washington, DC on Saturday November 2nd. Anyone is eligible to participate if they make a donation of at least $10. In addition we encourage people to sponsor participants for each home run they hit. For example: If you can pledge to donate $2 for every home run that Rhett Stuart hits. We hope to have a good turnout and to raise a lot of money for the Wounded Warrior Project.
